WHAT IS THE MCAAP?
The MCAAP is a member organization of over 1,600 pediatricians who are dedicated to advocating for Massachusetts children and pediatricians. Many pediatricians reap the benefits of being members of the AAP but it is important to note that the state AAP Chapters also provide invaluable resources to their members on the local level.
Our Mission
The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental and social health for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. To this end, the members of the MCAAP dedicate their efforts and resources.
Our Vision
The MCAAP is the leading voice for child health advocacy and high-value equitable care for all youth in the Commonwealth of MA.

The Chapter has been, and will continue to be, front and center in health care reform discussions locally and nationally.
