MCAAP Committees
Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect
The Committee provides pediatrician expertise and experience to the Commonwealth of MA in order to support legislative and administrative action that will improve the medical assessment of suspected abuse and of children entering foster care in the state.
In addition, the Committee serves as a forum for pediatricians dealing with child abuse and neglect in their practices to share current science and best practices and to support them in their work.
