MCAAP Signs on to AAP v. RFK Jr. Lawsuit on Vaccines (7/23/2025).

July 23, 2025 – MCAAP Statement

Vaccines are a cornerstone of pediatric healthcare, and recent changes to the routine childhood immunization schedule by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services threaten this success.

As a result, Massachusetts pediatricians have had to take on additional burdens to help protect our patients from vaccine preventable illness. Right now, with active measles already circulating in the United States, we need clear guidance from the federal government based on science and evidence, not fear and falsehoods. For these reasons, the MCAAP has joined the lawsuit.
