American Academy of Pediatrics Shares Pediatrician Stories on Importance of Childhood Vaccinations with Key Senate Committees (1/27/25)

January 27, 2025 – The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is preparing strategies to advocate for children and pediatricians with new leadership in Washington, D.C.

In advance of Senate confirmation hearings for officials who will lead agencies overseeing critical child health issues, including immunizations, the Academy solicited accounts from members who have treated children with vaccine-preventable illnesses. The stories will be shared with senators and other officials who will make decisions on Cabinet appointments, including the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. New date! 2025 Immunization Schedules Update Webinar – March 6, 2025, 12:00 PM ET

Please note: the webinar has been re-scheduled from January 30, to Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

The Immunization Initiative of the Massachusetts Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (MCAAP) and the Massachusetts Adult Immunization Coalition (MAIC) have partnered to present the 2025 Vaccine Education Webinar Series for Massachusetts healthcare providers and vaccinators, with CMEs to be provided by the MA Department of Public Health.
