MCAAP Call to Action – Support Immunization Bills H.2554 and S.1557 by contacting the Joint Committee on Public Health! (6/4/25)

June 5, 2025 – A Joint Committee on Public Health Hearing on vaccine-related legislation will be held this Friday (6/6/25), at the State House. This MCAAP sent a Call to Action ask members to contact the Joint Committee on Public Health in support of H.2554 and S.1557. The Call to Action details ways to help in this effort.

American Academy of Pediatrics Shares Pediatrician Stories on Importance of Childhood Vaccinations with Key Senate Committees (1/27/25)

January 27, 2025 – The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is preparing strategies to advocate for children and pediatricians with new leadership in Washington, D.C.

In advance of Senate confirmation hearings for officials who will lead agencies overseeing critical child health issues, including immunizations, the Academy solicited accounts from members who have treated children with vaccine-preventable illnesses. The stories will be shared with senators and other officials who will make decisions on Cabinet appointments, including the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.
